Michael is a Patron and Life Member of the Victoria Cross Trust in the United Kingdom, an Honorary Life Member at the United States Army Small Ships Association, and the number one Affiliate Member of the Totally and Permanently Incapacitated Veterans Association of Victoria. He is also the founder and host of the podcast, Australia Remembers.

Michael’s latest publication, The Victoria Cross - Australia Remembers, was published in April 2018 by Big Sky Publishing. This remarkable coffee-table book was four years in the making and has received praise and outstanding reviews from around the world.
